Cooking Delicious Dinners

Tuesdays 4.30-6pm

Target Age Group: Seniors: Years 3-7

Each week we’ll work together to cook dinner for your family. As the old saying goes “winner winner chicken dinner!” because not only do you get your dinner cooked, your child also gets:

  • hands on cooking experience.

  • autonomy and agency in the kitchen which builds overall confidence.

  • skills in planning, researching, making and eating meals.

  • learning about kitchen safety, hygiene, nutrition.

  • to learn from other learners and contribute to a larger community.

PLEASE NOTE: These classes are only suitable for children who already have basic cooking skills such as cutting vegetables, using common kitchen appliances and using the stovetop or oven (with parental supervision as required).

STEAM Club

Wednesdays 4.00-5.15pm

Target Age Group: Primary School (younger learners may require more parental support)

The STEAM Club will be a virtual workshop/ studio space where children will be supported to realise their ideas and STEAM projects. They'll get to use their creativity and imagination as they experiment and connect with others. Children are encouraged to come to the workshop with an idea of their own and with Greg's guidance create it into a physical or digital product.

This Club will build a community of learners and makers, working and sharing their individual, unique projects. Through this community children will be exposed to new ideas and skills. Their confidence can grow as their ideas are celebrated through sharing and discussion.

As facilitator, Greg, is well-versed in technology, apps and tools, but his main vision is to support the children as they experiment and learn for themselves (a crucial 21st century skill). Greg will also provide design thinking tools to support children to create what they imagine.
