Our summer program is focused around unique, inspiring and hands on family friendly offerings.

For Families wanting some novelty, connection and playfulness.

Nature Nurture

Monday 11th January 9.00-10.15

All ages from Kinder - Year 7

  • Connect with yourself in nature.

  • Sensory scavenger hunt in your backyard or local park.

  • Create a lasting reminder of nature nurture.

Yoga Fun & Relaxation

Friday 15th Jan 9.00-10.00
Monday 18th Jan 9.00-10.00

All ages from Kinder - Year 7

  • Touch the earth. Reach up to the sky. Stretch out wide. Make yourself into a pretzel.

  • Find your biggest breath to blow out 100 imaginary candles.

  • Learn about alertness and changing zones.

Chill Chat and Create

All ages from Kinder - Year 7

  • A laid back space to hang together while hands are actively engaged.

  • Craft, build, create, chalk.

  • Bring a project or I can suggest ideas.

From Dream to Reality

Thursday 21st Jan 4.00-5.30pm (Targeted to Year 4+)

  • Katherine Watson (primary school teacher) will share the inspiring story of her Olympics dream.

  • Then show you how to map an action plan to realise your dreams.

  • Katherine had an Olympics dream - took up archery - now on the NZ Team!

Giant Outdoor “Marble” Run or Waterwall

Tuesday 19th Jan 9.00-11.30am FAMILY ACTIVITY

  • Your whole family builds a gigantic marble-run together.

  • From marble to basketball sized. Use objects from around home or the outdoors.

  • Use your creativity and teamwork to prototype, build, test and share . We’ll coach you along the way.

Map your Family 2021 Vision

Wednesday 13th Jan 9.00-10.30 FAMILY ACTIVITY

  • What are your family goals and intentions for 2021.

  • Brainstorm everything everyone wants to do, see, feel.

  • As a family you’ll share your ideas and look for patterns.

  • Then turn it into a visual treasure map!

  • Long after the workshop ends you’ll have a map to guide your 2021 unfoldings.

Bring Your Passion to the World

Friday 22nd Jan 11-12.30 (Targeted for Grade 2-6)

  • Calling all young entrepreneurs.

  • Learn from your peers and their parents.

  • How did they start their own micro-business and bring their passion to the world?

  • How might you get started?

Snacktastic Cooking Club

Tuesday 12th Jan 9.00-10.15
Friday 22nd Jan 9.00-10.15
Thursday 28th Jan 9.00-10.15
Targeted for Prep-Year 3 less confident chefs

  • Junior chefs make a nutritious, delicious snack.

  • Demonstrations and modelling, step by step instructions, individual feedback and hands on practice.

  • Menus TBA when dietary requirements/likes/dislikes are advised.

Make a Summer Feast

Tuesday 12th January 4.00-5.30pm
Monday 18th January 4.00-5.30pm

Targeted for Year 3-7 more confident chefs - Super popular for parents cos - dinner done!

  • Learners make a Summer Feast for the family dinner.

  • Nibbles, main course and dessert.

  • Menus TBA when dietary requirements/ likes/dislikes are advised.

Dance til you Drop

Wednesday 27th Jan 9.00-10.15 (All ages)

  • “Let your hair down” and have some fun.

  • Dance, DJ, action games, dress up, have a laugh!

  • Focus on fun NOT dance skill and we’ll “read the crowd” to keep it fun.

  • Do expect this one to be loud and active!

STEAM Club - Tinker & Build

Wednesday 27th Jan 10.30-11.45 (Prep-Year 3 Focused)

  • Imagine, design, create and play with construction materials.

  • Children bring along materials to build their own constructions.

  • Materials could include a collection of recycled materials, or Lego, KNex etc.

The age ranges given are a guide. All children are unique and have different needs, interests and capabilities. If your child wants to attend a workshop outside their age range, please get in touch.

I hate people missing out! If your child wants to attend a fully booked workshop or want something on a different day, please get in touch. If we get enough interest we’ll run another session.
